Brian O’Rourke
Founder, Occupational Therapist
With this breadth of experience Brian takes a unique approach with his clients combining mental health and physical dysfunction techniques. Since starting work as an OT in 2012, he has gained experience facilitating complex return-to-work planning. Brian works with clients with orthopedic, mental health, and brain injury conditions. He brings an expert level of client centered care, mediation skills, as well as employer and stakeholder communication that leads to a high rate of success with return to work outcomes. ...Brian’s consulting experience includes functional capacity evaluations as well preparing cost of future care reports and consultations for legal purposes.
Brian started his occupational therapy career in a provincial care center for mental health and addiction. He had the opportunity to develop expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and cognitive remediation, and developed programming based on these techniques for clients with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, PTSD, and insomnia.
He further expanded his practice into physical dysfunction by working with Vancouver Coastal Health’s Home Health Program, developing his skills in discharge planning, home assessments and equipment recommendations. Brian specializes in wheelchair seating and equipment for clients with complex neurological disorders and spinal cord injuries.
To maintain theses skills, Brian works part time at the Hastings House Transitional Care home for client’s with severe brain injury and behavioral issues. Brian currently focusses on a caseload of WorkSafe BC, ICBC, and Veteran clients specializing in reducing disability and improving function with chronic conditions.
Rachel Dinoff
Occupational Therapist
Rachel graduated from Queen’s University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and in 2019 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Rachel’s clinical experience includes community mental health and substance use, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury rehab, as well as inpatient stroke and musculoskeletal rehab. She has worked on multidisciplinary teams in hospital and community settings. She has formal training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
...Rachel is passionate about taking a client-centered, recovery approach to treatment, with the ultimate goal of supporting and empowering people to improve their quality of life. Rachel is based in Vancouver and serves clients in the Greater Vancouver area. Outside of work, Rachel loves to travel, hike, read, and watch the food network!
Jason Ramsumair
Occupational Therapist, Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Jason holds a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western University of Ontario, building upon his foundation in Psychology with a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta.
With a diverse background, Jason has garnered valuable experience working with both children and adults in outpatient mental health settings. His expertise extends to aiding individuals in the spinal cord injury population within a rehabilitation setting.
...Currently, Jason manages a dynamic caseload focusing on mental health, including anxiety and depression. His specialization lies in trauma recovery and anxiety disorders, where he utilizes exposure therapy to assist individuals in their return to the workplace. Jason also employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and behavioral activation techniques for clients dealing with depression and concussion-related challenges. His ability to build rapport with mental health clients has been reflected in positive therapeutic outcomes and return to work.
Alex Bird
Occupational Therapist
Upon graduating from the Occupational Therapist Assistant Diploma at Okanagan College in 2012, Alex extensively worked with clients in the RCMP and Veterans community, which showcased his commitment to serving first responder populations.
Alexander completed his Master’s of Occupational Therapy at UBC. Alex is passionate about aiding individuals in their recovery from trauma disorders and mental health challenges....Alexander also specializes in providing comprehensive support during hospital discharges, with a keen focus on function while addressing equipment needs, optimizing ergonomics, and facilitating rehabilitation for physical injuries and concussions.
His current caseload includes clients facing trauma disorders, anxiety, depression, and various mental health challenges with a high rate of return-to-work outcomes. His CBT and coaching approach aligns with our company values, emphasizing a client-centered and collaborative approach with stakeholders.
Jordyne Greenspoon
Occupational Therapist, Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Jordyne is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a strong foundation in psychology and a passion for client-centered care. Born and raised in Vancouver, Jordyne completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Montreal before earning a Master’s of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia. With a diverse clinical background, Jordyne has gained valuable experience in various areas including acute orthopedic care, mental health and substance use, return to work contracts, neuromusculoskeletal injuries, and play-based therapy for children on the autism spectrum. Additionally, Jordyne has completed specialized training in Expressive Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Exposure Therapy, and prior to obtaining her masters degree, she has worked extensively with children with learning disabilities as a support worker. Jordyne is particularly passionate about meeting clients where they are at, including providing clients with the tools and techniques to grow throughout sessions and empowering them through meaningful engagement in the occupations that matter most. Outside of professional work, Jordyne enjoys running along Vancouver’s seawall and walking her lively 5-year-old black Labrador.
Victoria Vermeer
Occupational Therapist
Victoria Vermeer is an accomplished occupational therapist with a diverse background. Beginning her career in acute at Peach Arch Hospital, and later the patient assessment and transition home (PATH) unit, Victoria honed her skills in assessing her clients function and needs in the community. She then transitioned to part time private practice work, where she developed a passion for supporting individuals with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. ...Victoria's caseload reflects her dedication to mental health and she is known for making her clients feel supported and confident throughout the return-to-work process.
Drawing from her hospital experience, Victoria also excels in coordinating discharges and providing ongoing support for clients transitioning back into the community. Her expertise extends to active rehabilitation and equipping clients for independent living.
Mary Ng
Occupational Therapist
With an interest in psychology and mental health, Mary graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Hong Kong. After that, Mary found occupational therapy and realised her passion in the profession as it looks at people holistically and offers practical strategies to do things that are meaningful to them. Mary completed her Masters of Occupational Therapist at the University of British Columbia. ...Since then, Mary has been working at The Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in Coquitlam with a focus on mental health. Mary is passionate about working with people and utilising her knowledge and skills with CBT, behavioural activation, and motivation interviewing to assist people in reintegrating into their lives and work. Mary believes that a person’s wellbeing includes both physical and mental wellbeing, and this guides her to consider the whole picture when working with people in goal setting and treatment planning.
Sarah-Maud Bruemmer

Sarah-Maud is a dedicated and experienced occupational therapist with a strong academic foundation and diverse clinical expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as both a Bachelor and Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Montreal. With a focus on neurological and musculoskeletal recovery, mental health rehabilitation, and coaching for return to work, Sarah-Maud has consistently demonstrated her ability to provide comprehensive, client-centered care. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve independence in daily activities and occupations by understanding their unique needs, goals, and passions. Currently based in Squamish, BC, Sarah-Maud delivers occupational therapy services across the Sea to Sky and Lower Mainland. Sarah-Maud is fully bilingual in French and English.
Amanda Tejszerski

Amanda completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. Throughout her work experience and Occupational Therapy placements, she has supported individuals across the lifespan ranging from pediatric to geriatric age groups. Rachel is a passionate occupational therapist dedicated to providing quality, collaborative care with her clients. She graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Specialization in Kinesiology in 2018, and followed up with a post-graduate certificate in Gerontology from Fanshawe College. Rachel returned to Western University to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2021. ...
