Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team providing neuro-rehabilitation to clients recovering from brain injury. This position offers a flexible 6-hour weekly schedule and takes place at a facility-based program supporting 9 residents. The role is ideal for someone passionate about collaborative care, neuro-rehab, and client-centered treatment in a small residential environment.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
Expected Start Date: May/June, 2025
Work Hours: Flexible hours. 6 hours per week.
Mentorship and Coaching: Comprehensive one-year training program with ongoing support beyond the initial year. New grads welcome. Shadow shifts with current occupational therapist in role.
Learning and Development Budget: Reimbursement for education/training courses for part-time and full-time occupational therapists.
Pay:
• $72 – $78/hour.
• Administrative Time – Participate in training, weekly mentorship sessions, and any extra time needed to complete reports while being compensated.
Profit Sharing: Full-time occupational therapists become eligible for our profit-sharing program after 1 year.
Bonuses: Referral bonuses, student placement bonuses, in addition to eligibility for the profit-sharing program.

We have a strong support system in place and our OT will have administrative and IT support at their disposal, to enable them to focus on constructive client-centric work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments for clients with acquired brain injury
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Reassess, evaluate, and modify programs as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including case managers, physiotherapy, kinesiology, behavioral consultants, rehabilitation assistants.
- Reassess client progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Support clients in developing skills for increased independence and transitioning to community living.
- Maintain clinical documentation and communicate progress with team members.
Essential Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- Member in good standing with COTBC.
- Masters in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid driving license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
- 1–3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is an asset, including experience working with individuals affected by brain injury, or other neurological disabilities.
- Experience in return to work and interdisciplinary care is an asset.
- Wheelchair seating experience is an asset.
- Experience with chronic pain and concussion.
